September LuxeBox Review

And for those of you who were waiting for this, here is the September LuxeBox Review! You can go look at what a LuxeBox is here.

Here is what I received:

Moroccan Hair Oil

This 50ml bottle costs between $13-16 retail, so this product alone is worth the $12 I spent on this box. I’ve been a long time fan of Moroccan Oil, I love it. I still use their hair mask because I have not found any one that beats it. Sadly, I did have to replace my Moroccan Oil with a less expensive version which is also great but if I wanted to spend the extra I would DEFINITELY buy my Moroccan Oil again. Huge fan of the stuff. At first I thought this hair oil thing was a gimmick but quickly realized that it transformed my hair into soft manageable goodness.

Pur Minerals Mineral Glow

I don’t use pressed face powders or bronzers so I haven’t tried this one yet. However, if you do, you’ll want to check this company out (I love their face mask!). This isn’t drugstore junk, it’s good makeup with quality ingredients. Many reviewers rave about this product. This retails for $24. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a new bronzer. I will save this until January, that’s usually when my white pasty skin look sets in. I’m gonna need that glow so I don’t end up looking like a corpse :)

Mèreadesso® Face + Neck Toning Gel

I am very interested in this product for many reasons. This replaces your serums, moisturizers, eye cream…basically it’s an all in one! Ok, this is looking pretty good to me right now since my vanity is housing way too many creams. A 50ml bottle of this gel is said to last 4 months, the price is $120. Ouch. But if you add the prices of all your creams and serums monthly and you come up with more than $30 a month then this bottle is your solution to saving money & minimizing your beauty routine while still looking good. With 20 anti-oxidants, 8 minerals & enzymes and 16 botanical extracts, this is a really fully packed nourishing gel! I only received a small sample though it should last me a week. For fun, next time I go away I will take this with me, leave all my other creams and serums behind and see what happens. This product is promising, let’s hope it delivers!

Laura Mercier Perfecting Face Water – Rich

I wasn’t sure what to make of this product at first. I will describe it as a  glossy thick water. I just dab some on my face before applying my moisturizer in the morning. I’ve been using it for about 3 days now. It is supposed to hydrate the skin and make it easier for product absorption. The full size is a spray bottle, which would definitely be easier for application than what I have now. I’ve been reading reviews and people rave about this water. If you have dry skin, apparently this product is a must! My skin gets drier in the winter so I may save the rest of my sample for cooler days, when I’ll be able to notice more. Definitely curious about this one! The only issue? I saw Methylparaben in there. Yikes.

Hershey’s Kiss

I’m thinking the Hershey’s kiss was thrown in for good luck! Or maybe it’s an early Halloween treat? Regardless, who refuses chocolate? I wonder if all LuxeBox subscribers got one. Hmmmmm. Retail value: Priceless.
