I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking a short sabbatical from writing. I don’t expect to take longer than 2 weeks but will try to write sooner if I am able to. Frankly, there is just too much going on with myself and other aspects of my life and I am just not able to deliver good posts (or even positive ones) at the moment. I fear that if I do post, you will only be bombarded with articles you will not want to read due to anger (from me still living here) or lack of creativity on my part. So here’s hoping you will understand my decision and hopefully you will be back.

I would like to share a few things I am doing at the moment:

*I just purchased Steve Jobs’ Biography (Written by Walter Isaacson). The 600 page book will keep my mind occupied, he was a fascinating man & I can’t wait to read it! I also have Noam Chomsky’s 9/11 book waiting for me at the library!

*I am still learning Romanian and absolutely loving it. I have watched a BBC Documentary on Ceausescu called King Of Communism which you can watch FREE on YouTube. I also watched a film on Netflix called: 4 months, 3 weeks & 2 Days . AMAZING! Next up is 12:08: East of Bucharest . By pure accident, I found someone in town who will be helping me and lending me some textbooks and a lawyer where I work is Romanian and I will be practising a few words with him until my contract runs out in December.

*Believe it or not, I keep getting Airbnb guests! Busy with that as well.

*I am off home to Montreal in 2 weeks to seek a little relief and to reconnect with close friends/family. I can’t wait. I bought a group buying coupon for this restaurant called IBurger (your table is basically a computer and you order your gourmet delicacies). How cool is that?

*On a positive note, work is great, I love this work contract. Not looking forward to it being over!
