Here is something you can make for friends and family for Earth Day: Their own Earth Day Gift Box!!
Earth Day is Sunday April 22, 2102 this year.
Here’s how you do it:
PACKAGING
I recycle my empty Glymm, LuxeBox and GlossyBoxes to store the items. All of them are sturdy, come with tissue paper and ribbon. I keep all of it and have started packing them with items.

You may also use some fabric bags (made with recycled fabric) or any other type of packaging which can be reused, such as containers, paint cans, shoe boxes…

CONTENTS
Here is a list of things you can put in your Earth Day Bag/Box:
*Packet of Seeds (something easy to grow, such as beans, mint or wildflowers) or DIY Seed Bombs
*Plantable seed paper or cards (you can find some on Etsy or make it yourself).
*Vegan Lip Balm (http://www.rivendellnaturals.com/createlipbalm.html)

*Fair Trade Organic Chocolate (Camino, Zazubean, Green & Blacks…)
*Reusable Utensil Lunch Kit (make your own cutlery set by using a key ring and putting holes in thrift cutlery). Here is a beautiful utensil cozy for $6! OR some reusable chopsticks
*Organic Fair Trade Coffee or Tea (We have a local eco-roaster which sells fair trade & organic coffees, they sell mini bags for $3 at the market). In Colorado there is a solar roaster. Check them out HERE.
*Homemade Granola or Granola Bars
*A small jar or travel pack of virgin organic coconut oil along with This List printed on recycled paper. (52 Uses for Coconut Oil)
*Organic Travel Bath & Body Items (Hugo Naturals, Kiss my Face…)
*Reusable Menstrual Pads or DIY ones.
The choices are endless!!

Thank you for the link to my 52 Uses post! I am so flattered that it’s print worthy for an Earth Day gift box!
Thanks for the list Jessica, it’s AWESOME! Hope people will use it for their Earth Day boxes.
