Huevos Rancheros and a Weekend Market

My partner is away for the weekend and I was wondering what I was going to do today.
I do have an Airbnb guest but he’s swamped trying to find an apartment in 3 days and also trying to get over his jet lag. I am enjoying our brief conversations though because I am speaking French again as his English is rather minimal. Nice for me though.
I decided to walk up to one of my favourite small cafes and treat myself to a nice brunch. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros made with local silken tofu and some vegan sausage. I wish I had taken a picture of my food. It was incredible. I did find a recipe so I can re-create my own at home. Here it is:
VEGAN HUEVOS RANCHEROS
It is a little cool outside (16C and cloudy) which makes it very nice for walking. After brunch, I headed over to a little festival happening in my area where there is free yoga, meditation, discussions and a really funky market where I picked up a few goodies:
I also really liked the meditation area but there was no one around yet.
This time of year, it is likely that you will find free festivals in your area! This one had free yoga, meditation, open discussions over coffee…really cool. I didn’t stay for long but was rather impressed at everything that is available for free!
Check out your local listings, find a festival close-by and support your community!
HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN ANY FREE FESTIVALS IN YOUR AREA THIS SEASON?
